PWHL Seattle vs. PWHL Vancouver (Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. PST, Pacific Coliseum)

The PWHL season kicks off with a bang as the league’s two newest teams battle it out on opening day. After a controversial expansion process, fans will get a first look at these two absolutely stacked rosters and what is sure to be a burgeoning rivalry, especially in an Olympic year where the on-ice Canada vs. US tensions will be high. Add to that the return of professional hockey to the 16,000-seat Pacific Coliseum (former home of the Vancouver Canucks) and you have to imagine the city will be absolutely buzzing for this matchup.

Minnesota Frost vs. Ottawa Charge (Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. EST, TD Place)

Fans won’t have to wait long for a rematch of last year’s Walter Cup Final, as the Frost visit the Charge in early December. Minnesota won that five-game series 3-1, but it was extremely close. Every game finished with a 2-1 score and required at least one overtime period. Ottawa goaltender and rising PWHL star Gwyneth Philips will be one to watch this season, and she’ll be hungry to shut down Minnesota’s strong offensive group in this early test.

Toronto Sceptres vs. Montreal Victoire (Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 12 p.m. EST, Place Bell)

Toronto and Montreal alternated first and second place finishes atop the league through the first two seasons. This year with new challengers in the ring, it’ll be no easy feat to pull off again. Accordingly, we’re in for a real treat as this rivalry continues to grow and crucial points are fought for in the first of the teams’ five matchups this season. The Sceptres and the Victoire will meet twice more in the month of December, with both venues currently listed as TBD, possibly setting up the return of PWHL hockey to each city’s respective NHL venue.

PWHL Seattle vs. Boston Fleet (Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. EST, Agganis Arena)

Arguably one of the biggest surprises of the offseason was the Fleet leaving captain Hilary Knight unprotected, but the team decided to prioritize younger players with eyes on the future. The American legend will return to her longtime hometown for the first time in early January, in what is sure to be an emotional moment for the veteran and fans alike. One month out from the 2026 Olympics, it’ll also be a sendoff for the American captain ahead of what will be her last Games.

PWHL Vancouver vs. Toronto Sceptres (Saturday, Jan. 17, time and venue TBD)

It’ll be a long but well earned wait for the first contest between Toronto and Vancouver’s new team. In expansion, Vancouver took Sarah Nurse and Izzy Daniel, signed Hannah Miller in free agency, and later traded for Toronto’s former number one goaltender, Kristen Campbell. Listed as a Toronto home game with the venue to be announced, will it be a Scotiabank Arena showdown or a Takeover Tour game? That’s still up in the air, but either way, it’ll be one to watch.
