Powell notes, “The Golden State Warriors are a modern NBA dynasty, and the Liberty want to be a modern WNBA dynasty, and he has experience trying to reach those heights.” Powell observed at the the new head coach’s introductory press conference that DeMarco and Liberty GM Jonathan Kolb “are on the same page when it comes to the type of basketball that wants to be played,” and their energies align.
