On Friday afternoon, the PWHL announced the three roster protections for existing teams at the end of Phase 3. Each existing team has now made six protections; three in Phase 1 and three more in Phase 3. The six protections for each existing team, including the phase each player was protected in, are listed below, along with the current rosters for the expansion teams, and a brief outline of Phase 4.

What’s upcoming in Phase 4
In Phase 4, expansion teams will get another chance to bring in new players. Players who haven’t been protected in Phase 1 or Phase 3 can be signed by expansion teams. This includes both players who are currently under contract or on an expiring contract. Expansion teams will have 10 players on their rosters by the end of Phase 4.
Phase 4 begins on Sunday, June 14th, and ends on Monday, June 15th.
