Behind the netting at Robin Roberts Stadium, a fan in a white Queens jersey and cap cups her left hand around her mouth as she shouts and holds aloft in her right hand a red sign reading "I AM PART OF HISTORY." Behind her, as we look up at the stands, are many more fans holding the same sign.

On the right, the Firebells' Alexia Jorge slides away from the camera and into home plate without her batting helmet on, her brown hair pulled back in a low bun, her left hand and foot in the air, and her right hand kicking up dirt and chalk behind her. She wears a white uniform with purple and orange lettering, white spikes, white batting gloves, and a black compressions sleeve on her right arm. To her left, Queens catcher Maggie Foxx turns to her left with the ball in her glove, too late to make the tag. Foxx wears an all-black uniform with gold trim and a white Q on the sleeve topped by four gold diamonds. She has on black catcher's gear, including a hockey-style helmet, a back catcher's mitt, and a variety of colorful bracelets on her right wrist. Out of focus behind them several people look on from the Queens' dugout behind a red WPBL "Inaugural Season" banner.
