RV Georgia Tech: 65-32 win over Hofstra. Point guard Lotta-Maj Lahtinen led with 15 points on 5-6 shooting (3-3 3pt.) and no turnovers; big Lorela Cubaj had a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double on 5-11 FG, five assists, and five steals; center Nerea Hermosa notched 10 points on 4-6 from the field, two assists, two steals, three blocks, and four turnovers.

RV Duke: 73-65 win over App State, a team North Carolina beat by 38. Make of that what you will. The Blue Devils committed 26 turnovers against 16 assists, but shot 50.0% from the field and 42.1% from three. Wing Lexi Gordon had a game-high 21 points on 6-7 shooting (4-5 3pt.), with four rebounds, two steals, and seven turnovers; off-ball guard Celeste Taylor had seven points on 3-10 FG (1-5 3pt.), four rebounds, a career-high seven assists, and four turnovers; point guard Shayeann Day-Wilson notched 14 points off the bench on 6-10 from the field (2-4 3pt.), five assists, and six turnovers. 

Evansville: 84-71 win over Purdue Fort Wayne. Off-ball guard Je’Naiya Davis scored 35 points on 13-17 from the field and 3-7 from three (5-7 FT) with four rebounds and just one turnover.


Blown Leads

Central Connecticut: 70-63 loss to UMass Lowell. Had a 90.8% win expectancy with a four-point lead and 1:40 to go. Allowed a 12-1 run to end the game.

Rice: 81-73 win over Pacific. Had a 91.9% win expectancy with a seven-point lead to close the first quarter, trailed by three in the mid-fourth, but went on a 7-0 run right thereafter. Rice big Malia Fisher led with a 14-point, 17-rebound double-double on 5-9 shooting (1-2 3pt.) with six offensive rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.

Albany: 47-46 loss to Cornell. Led by two points with five seconds left, after hitting a three while down one just five seconds prior. Committed a foul with five seconds on the clock, then allowed a Big Red pull-up three to spin around the rim before falling in at the buzzer.
