#5 Baylor: 70-68 win over Missouri. Led by 11 in the early third quarter, with a 95% win expectancy, then got outscored 31-17 over the next 11 minutes. Missed 14 free-throws and got outrebounded by three. Big NaLyssa Smith had a double-double on game-highs of 25 points and 17 rebounds, on 9-for-13 from the field and 7-for-10 from the line with three assists; point guard Jordan Lewis, off-ball guard Ja’Mee Asberry, and center Queen Egbo combined to shoot 6-for-25 from the field, with Asberry and Egbo adding three turnovers and fouls each, and Lewis tallying seven assists. Big wing Aijha Blackwell led Missouri with 20 points on 8-for-14 from the field (1-5 3pt.) and 16 rebounds for a double-double, against three turnovers while fouling out with almost four minutes left; point guard Haley Troup scored 16 on 6-for-14 shooting (2-5 3pt.) with six assists.

#18 Oregon: 62-59 win over Portland. Off-ball guard Sydney Parrish scored a game-high 26 points on 10-for-14 from the field and 5-for-8 from three with five assists, all career-highs, against four fouls; center Sedona Prince had 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting (6-8 FT), eight rebounds, and two blocks in 27 minutes; everyone else combined for 14 points on 23.1% from the field and 1-for-9 from three.

RV Oklahoma: 94-63 win over Mississippi State. Shot 50.8% from the field, 40.0% from three, and 85.7% from the line, combo guard Taylor Robertson scored a game-high 22 points on 6-for-13 from three (2-for-3 from two) without a turnover; wing Madi Williams notched a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double on 5-for-7 shooting with two steals; off-ball guard Ana Llanusa had 21 points on 7-for-15 from the field and 3-for-9 from three, three rebounds, and four steals against three turnovers.

South Dakota: 71-59 win over Wichita State. Center Hannah Sjerven had a career-high 35 points on 11-for-17 from the field and 12-for-15 from the line (1-2 3pt.), seven rebounds (four offensive), and two steals in 32 minutes.

Wake Forest: 90-61 win over Troy, 13 points better against the Trojans than Duke was because basketball is weird. Combo guard Jewel Spear scored 30 points on 11-for-19 shooting and a season-high six threes on nine attempts, plus a season-high seven rebounds.

Ohio: 98-89 win over Richmond. Point guard Erica Johnson scored a season-high 32 points on 7-for-20 from the field, 3-for-8 from three, and 15-for-16 from the line, with five rebounds and seven assists. The Bulldogs were led by combo guard Anastasia Hayes’ 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting (3-7 3pt.), seven rebounds, and six turnovers.

North Florida: 53-51 loss to Florida International. Center Jazz Bond just missed a triple-double, with 30 points on 11-for-17 from the field (3-5 3pt.), nine rebounds, and a career-high-tying eight blocks.

UIC Flames: 68-64 overtime win over Detroit Mercy. Wing Jaida McCloud scored a career-high 30 points on 8-for-13 shooting and career-highs of 14-for-17 from the line, plus five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a career-high three blocks against four fouls in 41 minutes.

South Dakota State: 59-50 loss to Northern Iowa. Big wing Myah Selland did not play after having her shoulder injury in her season debut, last Saturday’s win over UCLA.

Abilene Christian: 97-71 win over Nicholls. Outscored the Colonels 34-5 in the first quarter. Yeah.

Blown Leads

Yale: 52-49 loss to St. Joseph’s. Had a 94.1% win expectancy with less than three minutes left and possession. Then went 0-for-3 from the field and two-for-four from the line while committing three turnovers and a foul.
