It’s time for another soccer edition of The IX Sports Podcast. On this episode, Soccer Monday columnist Annie Peterson joined host Kathleen Gier to talk about the latest conversations around Trinity Rodman’s future in the NWSL and why it is so important for the league to keep her.
“What we learned today is that the deal is not dead. They’re still talking. Everybody’s still on the same page. They want Trinity to stay in the NWSL,” Peterson said. “The league wants her to stay. The Spirit wants them to stay. And, you know, apparently, Trinity wants to stay too, because she had already agreed to, you know, an offer. So everybody’s trying to make it happen.”
