Now that the dust has settled on the WNBA Finals, Unrivaled has returned to the spotlight ahead of its Season 3 launch on Friday, Jan. 8, 2027, with games in Boston, Mass., and Inglewood, Calif.
To get the excitement of the third season of the three-on-three league going, the league announced its rosters for its eight clubs on Wednesday night.
The IX Sports received a sneak peek at the rosters and who will be making up the clubs ahead of the official announcement.
To get clarification, The IX Sports spoke to a league source to ask them if the same rules applied for the clubs this year as they did last year, where teams who made the playoffs could retain two players and clubs who didn’t could only retain one player.
“It’s a little bit different this year,” the source told The IX Sports. “Every roster was built through a combination of club draft selections and collaboration between head coaches and the league office. There was a continued emphasis on competitive balance, complementary skill sets, and continuity of club identities.”
It becomes apparent when you look at the rosters.
Without further ado, let’s meet your teams for Unrivaled Season 3.
