The anticipation for the 2024 WNBA Draft is reaching a crescendo as top prospects prepare to make their way to the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City on Monday, April 15.
Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, Stanford’s Cameron Brink, South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso, Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson and LSU’s Angel Reese are among the names headlining the list of 15 prospects set to attend.
The Indiana Fever secured the coveted first pick during the lottery, followed by the Los Angeles Sparks and the Chicago Sky, setting the stage for potential franchise-altering selections.
Among the prospects attending, the spotlight shines most brightly on Clark, whose scoring has rewritten the NCAA record books.
The other prospects in attendance will be guard Marquesha Davis (Mississippi), forward Aaliyah Edwards (Connecticut), guard Dyaisha Fair (Syracuse), center Elizabeth Kitley (Virginia Tech), guard Nika Muhl (Connecticut), guard Charisma Osborne (UCLA), forward Alissa Pili (Utah), forward-center Nyadiew Puoch (Australia), guard Jacy Sheldon (Ohio State), and guard Celeste Taylor (Ohio State).
Commissioner Cathy Engelbert will announce where these future stars of the WNBA are headed. The draft will air on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. ET, with predraft coverage beginning at 7.
