On the latest soccer edition of The IX Sports Podcast, host Kathleen Gier recaps the USWNT’s victory at the SheBelieves Cup, where they beat Argentina, Canada and Colombia. She also previews the upcoming NWSL season, which is set to kick off this weekend.

Gier starts off by recapping some of the biggest takeaways from this year’s SheBelieves Cup. “The U.S. didn’t score much this tournament, but each goal came from a different player, which I think is a really good showing of the team’s depth,” Gier says. “They are able to close down and win these more defensive battles when they maybe only do score one goal.”
