Over the last few seasons, the transfer portal has become a prominent fixture of college athletics, and women’s basketball is no exception. Many of the biggest stars in women’s college basketball, including Angel Reese, Lauren Betts and Olivia Miles, have used the transfer portal to find new homes.
This year, many players have again elected to enter the portal. Here is where we’ll keep a running list of each athlete who enters and where they end up. We recommend bookmarking the page and checking back for updates.
Last updated May 16, 2026. (Note: Players will not appear on this list until they are officially in the portal.)

Your business can reach women’s sports fans who share your passion!
Here at The IX Sports, our audience is a collection of the smartest, most passionate women’s sports fans in the world. If your business has a mission to serve these fans, you should reach out to our team at BAlarie@theixsports.com to discuss ways to work together in 2026.

The portal is absolutely ruining ladies basketball. Loyalty is out the window. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Just look at the two championship teams this year. Coaches did have to make the players. They were skilled by other coaches and put together for a championship. The mid majors will never be strong because of this.
ruining basketball… aw… players actually getting rewarded for their contributions to the schools. how horrible.
Easy to see which coaches think developing a team needs to be based on lack of loyalty to the team that originally had faith in them. Dawn , Muckey and now TCU can’t run fast enough to get players. Let’s coach and build a team not buy one. If a coach loses a team and best players year after year, or a whole team in a year maybe their contracts should be looked at like Maryland and Tennessee!
What are you smoking? Maryland only lost their best player once, when Ashley Owusu left. FYI when Angel and Shakira left, they were not the best players on the team. And Kaylene Smikle was certainly not the best player on Maryland.
Alot of underhanded stuff going. TCU, Louisville and others should be investigated. Waltz is as crooked as they come. Plus when losing is a crazy guy on the sideline and the NCAA and referees lets him get away with.
